DON’T FORGET YOUR OUTDOOR ED DONATION. DUE MONDAY.

Language Arts:

Reading:  We will begin a short story unit. Two short stories to be analyzed have been assigned as 1st quarter “book” reports. The first one is due Sept. 27.

Vocab: No vocab. this week.

English: Continuing to work on Unit 1. Next journal turn-in will be Oct. 8.

Science:  We have begun our studies of the Endocrine and Reproductive systems.  We will continue those studies next week and finish up after we return from outdoor ed.  

Social Studies:  This past week we looked at the events that led to the early battles of the American Revolution and the actions taken by the First and Second Continental Congresses. We spent some time reading, listening to and then doing a worksheet over Patrick Henry’s “Give me liberty or Give m death” speech. We will now begin looking and studying the principles found in the Declaration of Independence.
