Welcome to the exciting world of first grade! I’m dedicated to making this a busy, productive – and terrific – year for all of my students. I hope you find the information on this website helpful. Mrs. Burger's Family
My husband, Darren Burger, and I have been blessed with twin daughters.  They currently attend Holy Cross.
Mrs. Burger's Education
I have taught in a variety of roles in education. My teaching career began in a Lutheran Preschool as the Director and teacher. From there I was the Early Childhood Educator in a home based Even Start Program. In Kentucky, I taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Most recently, here at Holy Cross, I have served as a Para educator, substitute teacher, P.E. teacher and now 1st Grade.

I look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with my students. Also, I hope to help each student strengthen his or her talents and foster a life long love for learning.

Awards/ Achievements
I graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Later, I also graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio with a Master of Education degree in Reading. Currently, I am training in the Alphabetic Phonics program through the Fundamental Learning Center in Wichita.
Mrs. Burger's Hobbies
I enjoy creating through cooking, baking and crafts. I also enjoy reading, puzzles and playing games with my family.
