Art
Enriching the lives of our students with art experiences across the curriculum as well as exploring a wide variety of art mediums and techniques is an important part of our Middle School education. Students create in-depth projects throughout the year and explore art theory and history.

Band
Our goals in band are to gain a fundamental knowledge of each instrument, from completing group and individual musical works which challenge students musically, to gaining a basic knowledge of rudimentary skills, such as scales/arpeggio’s/chords. Students will begin an understanding of basic improvisation and how it relates to all periods of music, enjoy making music, and continually grow spiritually, using God-given gifts and talents.

Here at Holy Cross we recognize the blessings and benefits that God has gifted us through music and want to share those gifts with you by honoring our Lord through singing. Raising our voices to glorify God is our main purpose in this class. With concerts throughout the year and opportunities to sing in church we hope you are moved by His spirit when hearing His children sing.

In the Fall semester, this class prepares for the Christmas Concert including singing, acting, and set design.
In the Spring semester they prepare for the Spring Concert including singing, acting, and set design.

Crime Scene Investigation
Students will become crime scene investigators as they collect evidence, conduct interviews, perform scientific analysis of evidence and analyze data to solve the crime!

LEGO Robotics
Lego Robotics is building and programming robotics and it will be MANDATORY that you participate in the LEGO Mindstorms Competition. (Approximately early March)
