COVID-19
News & Resources

During these ever changing times we remember that God is our refuge & strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).  The Holy Cross team continues to be in prayer & discussion to seek the Lord’s leading on the best next steps for our school.  We will continue to monitor all updates from the CDC & other health outlets as well as the State Board of Education to stay flexible until the current public health crisis subsides.

School will begin on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, for all grades.
For complete re-opening details please see the  “Back to School Plan” below (under “Response Updates”)

There will be no Sixth Grade Orientation, Back to School Bash event, or large group school supply drop off gathering. However, a Sign-Up Genius will be distributed with specific time slots for students to bring their supplies to their individual classrooms on Monday, August 31, or Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020.

Day School determined last night that our start date for preschool and K-8 will be September 2, 2020.  Our last attendance day will be on May 28, 2021.  We have provided extra time for teachers to plan and implement needed changes to address COVID-19.

Below is an Acknowledgment and Disclosure Statement for preschool regarding COVID-19.   This is for your information only.  Please note that preschool students are not required to wear face coverings.  In August, your child’s teacher will contact you and ask you to sign the below Acknowledgement Parent Disclosure.
Please remember to complete your child’s health records and other necessary information.

We will not have a Back to School Bash this year, but will be sending a sign up link for parents and students to bring school supplies on August 31 and September 1.

We are glad you are joining us.  Please contact Mrs. Myers (jmyers@holycrosslutheran.net ) if you have any questions.
