Boar’s Head Festival

December 6, 2019 @ 7:30 pm

Join us for our XI Boar’s Head Festival! This FREE Renaissance Christmas Pageant will include music, dance, costumes, comedy, worship and family fun to start the Christmas season!

Boar’s Head Festivals began in England in the Middle Ages as a courtly celebration of Christ’s birth. Feasting upon the boar’s head symbolized our Lord’s defeat of the evil beast-the devil. This yuletide tradition make it’s way to the New World and now Holy Cross brings this celebration from ages past to Wichita for the 11th time. It’s an evening of delightful entertainment and rejoicing in the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You don’t want to miss it.
