Faith-Based Learning

From morning devotions, weekly chapel, and daily bible lessons to integrated teachings in science, math, and language arts, our entire foundation at Holy Cross is based on the truth of God’s Word.  Check out all the ways we incorporate the teachings of Christ.

Weekly Chapel

Weekly Chapel

Our students in K-8 attend weekly chapel every Wednesday morning.  They sit with their “chapel families” where they are either mentored by older students, or get the chance to mentor younger students.  At least once during the course of the year, each class gets an opportunity to lead chapel guided by their homeroom teacher.

Daily Devotions / Bible Lessons

Daily Devotions / Bible Lessons

Each classroom begins their day with a devotion, a prayer, or scripture, and gains a deeper understanding of Christ with a bible-based lessons using curriculum from Concordia Publishing.  Workbooks, crafts, puppetry, interactive media resources, and mission opportunities are all ways students not only learn, but experience and develop their own faith.
