Family –

My husband, Kevin, and I have two children, Derek and Karissa. They are amazing children who bring such joy to our lives.

Favorite Verse –

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Education –

I was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana and graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I began my career in California, teaching Head Start to underprivileged children for four years. I completed the Colloquy program through Concordia University, Seward in 2005. This experience has enriched my faith life and empowered me to take one step further into understanding God’s omnipotent love, power, and grace.

Awards / Achievements –

In 1994, my family moved to Wichita where I have been teaching ever since. I’ve taught first, third, and currently second grade to awesome children at Holy Cross!

Professional Goals –

I am currently taking classes at Wichita State University to earn my Masters Degree in Special Education/Adaptive.

Hobbies –

In my free time I enjoy reading mystery novels, knitting, traveling, and gardening.
