6th Grade News

 

WE WILL BE GOING TO THE DOWTOWN LIBRARY ON MARCH 12TH. LOOK FOR THE PERMISSION SLIP. I WILL BE NEEDING DRIVERS. 

Religion:Memory work is Ephesians 4:29

Reading:  We have started The Hobbit. All work is to be kept inside their Hobbit folders. Most of the work for Hobbit is done in class. The other work is always due on Friday. Hobbit work is weekly work- not daily work. We will still be in Wonders, just not as often.

Our latest book report is a nonfiction book with a project. The students work on their shoe box floats in class. There will be class time to work on the floats. The paper is due Monday, Feb. 24, and the floats will be due sometime the week of March 9th.

English: Working in GUM- Quiz on Unit 2 Wed.

Spelling:  No spelling this week

Science:  The students are doing great!    

Social Studies: We have finished our look at Rome and now will be going over the rise of Christianity and its impact on the world of this time
