Family –
I am married to Terry Newlin, a software engineer at High Touch, Inc. We have four sons, four daughters-in-law, four granddaughters and two grandsons.

Education –
- I have a BSE in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Emporia State University, Emporia, KS. and a MS in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities from Wichita State University, Wichita, Ks.
- I have numerous post-graduate hours.
- I have taught in the early childhood field for 26 years.
Awards / Achievements –
I have been recognized for 20 years of service to Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool.
Professional Goals –
My professional goals are to instill the love of Christ and the love of learning in the children I teach. I continue learning in my field through college classes, seminars, and workshops.
Hobbies –
My hobbies are activities with my family. We enjoy camping in our Hi-Lo camping trailer. We are all huge Wichita State University Shocker fans and especially enjoy Shocker men’s basketball.
